Nasreen Nasreen
Nasreen has more than six years of experience working as a journalist with media organizations and non-profits in Canada and India. She has worked as a writer, editor, and managed social media accounts for several non-profits in the past.
Nasreen’s work includes writing as a columnist for various newspapers, including The Daily Mail. She has also produced well-researched stories and news packages while working as an editor with national newspapers in India and Canada.
A trained mediator, Nasreen recently graduated with a Master’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Waterloo. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in journalism, a Post Graduate Diploma in journalism, and a second Master’s degree in Political Science.
A firm believer in social justice, Nasreen has also extensively worked against child sex trafficking in Delhi, India, for over three years. She was involved in research and advocacy work and helped rescue young girls and women from the sex trade. Her work also involved facilitating awareness sessions in schools, colleges, and universities.
